Editorial leadership

In an industry full of buzzwords and buzz-phrases, there’s one that keeps circling around the world of content marketing: think like a publisher. It’s one reason why so many ex-journalists have sought refuge from a dwindling newspaper industry in this world. Our founder is one of them, providing strong editorial leadership.

Editorial leadership from an industry veteran

Lauren McMenemy started out in journalism on daily newspapers in her native Australia, and has spent the last decade in the UK putting her old newspaper training into practice for brands in both the private and public sector. She has set up and run editorial teams in multinational companies, and can help you to get the right team, roles and processes in place.

Want to know how to think like a publisher? How to run your team’s output like a newsroom? How to maximise timelines and streamline production. Lauren can pop round for a chat.

We are editorial coaches

Editorial is essentially the process of writing and creating content; it again borrows a term from journalism, just as content marketing writers can be known as brand journalists. Anyone can write, but only those with experience know how to get maximum coverage for your available resourcing.

We can coach you and your team in the finer points of editorial. We’ll help you learn how to set up a forward plan, how to use an editorial calendar, how to set up and run an editorial board, how to analyse the performance of your content, how to brief and invite pitches from freelancers, and more. We can mentor and support from the sidelines, or we can come in and set things up for you. It all depends on the level of support you’re looking for.

If you’re thinking of embarking on a content marketing journey, we should be your first port of call.
